Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled individual with a strong background in planning and GIS. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and delivering planning and GIS related elements for various projects. This will include supporting the development of corridors, alignments, and routes from the initial needs phase through to the NSIP (Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects) or S36 stage. Additionally, the candidate will provide pre-and post-application planning, environmental, and engineering input or advice on significant infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as Geography, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or a similar field. A Master's degree in these fields is desirable. The candidate should also have a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in the infrastructure or development sector, specifically working on transmission, distribution, or other planning schemes. Furthermore, the candidate should have experience using GIS software and working on electricity projects, including NSIPs, S37, or TCPA projects.

Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in the UK with opportunities for career progression.
