Social Work Coordinator

This Social Work Coordinator role involves supporting the work completed within the social work team, including contacting potential foster carers, conducting assessments, and working with professionals across the service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of children/young people through assessments that comply with statutory requirements. This includes collecting, recording, and analysing information to fulfil statutory responsibilities and promote the well-being and interests of children/young people.
Main Responsibilities:- Contacting potential Connected Persons Foster Carers/Special Guardians to introduce yourself/the service and discuss the stage one checks and references required for a full Form C assessment.
- Using electronic systems to keep records up-to-date and communicate with people via various methods.
- Working alongside Social Workers and other professionals, including child care social workers, legal representatives, GPs, and medical advisors.
We offer a competitive salary of $42,000 - $62,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
