Job Title:

Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join our Central Government team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality and cost-effective Public Procurement services for a reputable Government Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on contractual agreements, dealing with commercial contracts, procurement, production, and distribution.
  • Managing data and information, IT, technology, construction, intellectual property, public law, grants, and other related areas.
  • Providing expertise on public procurement matters and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial contracts and procurement.
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work within IR35.
