About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client's team in the sheet metal industry. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the bidding process, working on diverse projects that require innovative thinking and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates for new contracts by calculating manufacturing costs.
  • Adhere to company standards and guidelines when analysing and providing estimations, focusing on maximising profit and customer satisfaction while minimising potential risks.
  • Prepare detailed, well-written proposals for each client.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each reaches the client by their deadline.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers.
  • Undertake general office duties, answer the telephone, filing, and attend meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Time served as an Estimator within the Sheet Metal industry.
  • Understanding of drawings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of machine capabilities.
