About the Role

You will be responsible for supervising a team of operatives and their team leaders, while also being involved in the hands-on manufacturing process.



We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and time-management skills, who can effectively manage parts and consumables for production.



The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, with manual production experience desirable.



Responsibilities


  • Manage a team of operatives and their team leaders
  • Supervise the direction and management of up to 4 teams
  • Oversee the hands-on manufacturing process
  • Effectively manage parts and consumables for production
  • Use power, air, hand, and pneumatic tools in manufacturing
  • welding experience is desirable


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Experience in hands-on production or commercial vehicle manufacturing
  • People management skills
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Ability to use power, air, hand, and pneumatic tools in manufacturing
  • welding experience is desirable
