We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team at Michael Page in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established and growing manufacturing company.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a culture of safety first, where we strive to be a zero-harm organisation with a robust and effective health and safety management system. They will drive improvement at every opportunity and set best-in-class standards across our UK site.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a single way of working to underpin cohesive delivery of health, safety & well-being management across the site.
- Stay abreast of all HSE rules, regulations, and legal requirements, evolving business HSE systems as necessary to ensure full compliance.
- Liaise with external bodies including the Health and Safety Executive, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety role in a manufacturing business, ideally from automotive, aerospace, chemical, industrial or FMCG sectors.
- Good Project Management skills, able to lead projects from initial scoping through to completion.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
