We are seeking an experienced Building Condition Advisor to join our team in the Housing Department. As a key member of the team, you will assist in Disrepair cases and conduct site inspections to ensure that repairs are carried out to a high standard.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned Local Authority in London and contribute to the development of policies and procedures for the team.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose building failures and recommend repairs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify defects and develop detailed specifications of works.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Legal Repair Specialist to develop policies and procedures for the team.
  • Ensure quality assurance checks are undertaken on repairs ordered and paid for by the Legal Repairs team.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and legal documentation.
  • Experience working within the Social Housing space.
  • Recent experience working with a Local Authority or Housing Association.
  • Competency in the use of devices, aids, and instruments for making assessments and diagnoses.
Benefits
