About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the management of diabetes and endocrine services.
  2. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans for patients.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  4. Participate in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects and studies.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a Specialist Register in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
  • Experience in the management of diabetes and endocrine services.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
