Transocean is seeking a highly skilled Subsea Supervisor to join our Offshore Maintenance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of all subsea BOP and riser systems, multiplex electro-hydraulic control systems, and associated surface equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the maintenance and repair of subsea equipment, including BOP and riser systems, multiplex control systems, and associated surface equipment and systems.
- Direct the deck and drill crews in the running and recovery of the BOP and marine riser equipment.
- Operate and pressure test the BOP on the surface and on the seabed as required.
- Ensure that all maintenance personnel meet the training requirements as per their applicable training matrix.
- Mentor, coach, develop, and train crew members to ensure they are competent to work at their next job level.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the maintenance crews. Apply continuous improvement process.
- Assist in training to ensure that all personnel are competent to perform their allocated jobs.
- Participate fully in the annual performance appraisal process.
- High School Diploma (U.S.) or Proof of Completion of Formal Education or Relevant Craft Certificate (where applicable).
- Successful Military Discharge – Preferred for U.S.
- Minimum of one-year experience working with a multiplex system.
- Basic computer skills.
- Graduate of Trade School or University where knowledge and training acquired are applicable to job requirements – Preferred.
- Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates.
- Knowledge of all technical calculations required for the subsea operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills.

Attend and participate in all required Safety and Operational meetings. Participate fully in the annual performance appraisal process, competency assessments based on performance against Operational Discipline requirements. Complete company training requirements for the Subsea Supervisor job level as per the training matrix, including in local/regulatory requirements.
Full participation in emergency drills and respond to emergency situations as per assigned duties on the station bill. Norway Specific: Responsible to follow up on the working environment within the rig department.
