We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Specialist to provide high-quality care and support to service users in their own homes across the city.

Job Details

This part-time position requires 30 hours of work per week, with a focus on improving the quality of life for our service users.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain service users' independence and well-being in their own homes by attending to their assessed personal and social care needs.
  2. Assist service users and carers in improving their quality of life through effective care and support.
Requirements
  • Hold an SVQ2 or be able to undertake training to achieve this award within a specified timeframe.
  • Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified time.
  • Prior caring experience to a high standard, either through life or work experience.
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to understand and meet the needs of people living in the community.
Working Arrangements

This part-time position involves working a range of shifts, including split shifts, evenings, weekends, and occasional nights.
