About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour and develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 or group basis to develop strategies to manage their behaviour and improve their relationships with others.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement behaviour plans that meet the needs of individual pupils.
  • Provide support and guidance to pupils to help them develop positive relationships with their peers and teachers.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness and making recommendations for future support.
  • Work with pupils to develop their social and emotional skills, including self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-motivation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
  • Ability to work with pupils of varying ages and abilities.
