About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team as a Subsidence Assessment Professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing subsidence-related damage in buildings and developing project plans for property repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of building movement and damage, identifying probable causes and recommending investigations and remedial works.
  • Validate or repudiate insurance claims by completing detailed reports.
  • Liaise with homeowners, insurance companies, and senior management to develop project plans for property repairs.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working in the building/construction industry.
  • An excellent understanding of building pathology and structural issues.
  • Experience dealing with subsidence-related issues, preferably in a loss adjuster, insurance company, or specialist contractor environment.
  • A solid knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory matters, including Asbestos Handling, CDM, DPA, H&S on site, and the Party Wall Act.
  • A related qualification, such as an HNC/HND or Building Surveying/Engineering Degree, is highly desirable.

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
