Data Governance Manager

As a key member of our Data & Analytics Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's data management strategy. With a strong focus on data governance, you will lead the development and enforcement of frameworks that ensure the integrity and quality of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks across the organization.
  • Ensure the integration of data governance processes across all business units.
  • Assign and support data owners and stewards in managing critical data assets.
  • Collaborate with data sponsors, owners, and department leaders to align governance practices and uphold high standards.
  • Provide expert advice on data management methodologies.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance data quality and resolve any issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and relevant regulatory requirements in data governance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in data management, data governance, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of data management practices across the data lifecycle, including tools, methodologies, and architecture.
  • Experience in defining and embedding data ownership and stewardship roles within an organization.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR.
  • Experience in developing and implementing information governance frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate the importance of data governance effectively across the business.
