Support Worker (Night Shift)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care to a gentleman in his 70s who has sustained a severe brain injury. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the individual in their daily life, enabling them to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour support to the individual, working as part of a team to ensure their needs are met
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support the individual in their daily activities, including watching TV, listening to podcasts, and attending community events
  • Drive the family vehicle, using a car provided by the client
  • Work collaboratively with the Case Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure the individual receives the best possible care

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals
  • Valid driving license and access to a car
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
