Job Title: STEM Graduate

A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Barnet is seeking an Aspiring STEM Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full-time, long-term post.

Job Summary:

You will be working across a Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Department, supporting KS3-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring STEM Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling onto teacher training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting KS3-5 lessons in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Department
  • Focusing on attainment & the quality of learning
  • Working with students to raise their academic achievement
  • Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
  • Working closely with the Head Teacher and other staff members
Requirements:
  • Desirable degree from a reputable University in a Science-related subject
  • Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
  • Confidence in your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Commitment and ambition to succeed
