Commercial Officer - Contracts Management
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Officer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our contracts management team, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end management of contracts, from initial capture through proposal, contract award, and all stages of contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various commercial/contract models and their application, ensuring compliance with Terms and Conditions, identifying risks, and implementing solutions to emerging issues.
- Contract Negotiation and Administration: Independently identify, define, and execute contract revisions and improvements following established procedures, ensuring all contract actions and closeouts are completed in a timely manner.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison with internal teams, customers, and suppliers, providing guidance on assigned agreements, and ensuring the flow down of prime contract commercial requirements to suppliers.
- Contract File Management: Organize and maintain contract files systematically, ensuring all contract-related activities are in line with negotiated agreements and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Commercial Officer or in a similar contracts management role, with expertise in managing contracts for major projects, programs, and complex agreements.
- Commercial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of commercial/contract models and risk management, with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical, report writing, and organizational skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of seniority, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of the role, UK government security clearance is required. Candidates must hold British or dual nationality to be eligible.
