As a key member of our UK commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our premium spirits portfolio through e-commerce channels.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of growing our brand portfolio with Amazon and Ocado. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven track record of generating sustainable e-commerce growth to make their mark and help us connect more consumers with our brands.

You will be responsible for creating and executing the UK e-commerce strategy in line with SGS ambitions, developing strong business plans to deliver against budgeted growth targets, and managing the full commercial picture from accurate forecasting to A&P investment.

  • Manage customer relationships to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Manage the P&L for e-comm, including volume, NSV, GP, distribution, BI, and opex, with support from the Off Trade Director.
  • Formulate and control key business processes such as weekly and monthly performance updates, demand forecasting, and annual bottom-up planning to build budgets.
  • Build clear business plans for investment in secondary space and activation.
  • Develop and maintain positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with customers.
  • Work with Commercial Marketing to utilise internal and external sales data to support strategy and customer success.
  • Owning the rolling sales forecast and working with the Commercial Leadership Team and Finance Teams to deliver this monthly.
  • Liaison with key company stakeholders, including Finance, Logistics, Culture, Marketing, and the leadership team.
  • Maximise new business opportunities and stay on top of market trends.
  • Develop and implement monthly reports for Directors.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and other sales channels to ensure the UK commercial strategy complements the overriding brand strategy.
  • Identify key areas for improvement in sales process.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Solid sales/commercial experience (5 years+), including national customers with proven achievements and wins with key customers.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the e-commerce landscape, with an understanding of delivering growth in this channel.
  • Consumer Goods experience working with leading e-comm customers.
  • A well-developed leadership & coaching ability, supporting and guiding junior team members.
  • A strong ability to forecast accurately and an attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to utilise category insights to develop compelling, mutually beneficial growth plans.
  • Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, life insurance, and 25 days' annual leave.
