We are seeking a skilled and innovative individual to join our Engineering team as a PSV/HGV Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of buses and trucks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electronic faults in our vehicles
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure our fleet is in good working condition
  • Record faults and work completed using a tablet-based system
  • Follow safety procedures and report any issues

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of an NVQ level 2 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles, or equivalent international qualification
  • At least five years' experience repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles, which you will need to evidence
  • A good standard of Maths and English
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and service manuals
  • Knowledge of fleet management technical computer systems
  • Good team working skills and ability to work flexibly
  • Ability to work well using your own initiative
  • Safety conscious in everything you do
