Leak Detection Specialist

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is proud to be working with a leading provider of drainage and water leak detection services to the insurance industry.
The role of Leak Detection Specialist is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company that utilizes cutting-edge technology to develop its services.
As a Water Supply Engineer, you will be conducting leak detection surveys and site assessments across the UK, utilizing a variety of technologies.
You must have experience in the field and possess excellent problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to making recommendations for cost-effective and least invasive repairs.
Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will be required to confidently communicate with customers to explain the work being completed.
The ideal candidate will have experience with leak detection techniques, including the use of traditional listening stick methods, Ground Acoustics, and Correlators equipment.
Thermal Imaging devices and other specialist technologies are also advantageous.
You will be responsible for generating detailed site reports and plans, as well as troubleshooting problematic and leaking mains water systems.
A logical approach to leak detection investigations is crucial, with the ability to establish the location of leaks with minimal disturbance or excavation.
WIAPS approval or similar is required, as well as the ability to reinstate various domestic surface types and carry out small-scale enabling works and reinstatements.
Outstanding customer care and proven problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
A full driving licence is also required.
