Executive Pastry Chef

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chef to join our team in the pastry bay area of our department. As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for providing nutritional meals to our patients and other service users, including specialist diets.

You will work under pressure to ensure that trust policies and practices are adhered to, including filling in trust documentation. We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative and bring different ideas to our department.

• Meal Provision: Providing nutritious meals to our patients and other service users, which includes specialist diets.
• Documentation Compliance: Ensuring that trust policies and practices are adhered to, including filling in trust documentation.

The ideal candidate should have achieved their Food Preparation and Cooking NVQ level 2 or equivalent, have good communication skills, and be able to work under pressure.

Certifications: Holds NVQ2 or equivalent, intermediate Food Hygiene certification, and willingness to work towards additional training required for specialist diets.
