Senior Compliance Manager (Advisory)

As a key member of our Group Compliance Function, you will provide oversight, assurance, and insight into conduct and compliance matters across both regulated and unregulated Group entities. Your expertise will ensure that regulatory requirements, terminology, methods, and tools are fully understood and utilized in the first line.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and support to the first line, operating within the Compliance Advisory framework, to ensure customer-centric activities comply with regulatory obligations.
  • Evaluate and escalate conduct and regulatory risks to deliver the right customer and operational outcomes.
  • Support the Group Head of Compliance in developing the compliance advisory function and contributing to its continuous improvement.
  • Oversee regulatory change management to deliver the right customer and operational outcomes with appropriate systems and controls.
  • Provide regulatory and conduct risk opinions on complex projects and programmes.

Key Requirements:

  • Significant working knowledge of regulatory handbooks and associated guides and codes.
  • Detailed understanding of regulatory permissions and practical authorisation processes.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and apply regulatory standards to internal governance arrangements.
  • Previous experience in a senior compliance role.
