About the Role
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative with our client, you will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are maintained to the highest standard. This includes digging of ash interments and ash scatterings, maintenance of plots, placing of memorials, and digging of plots for burials.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting families and communities during difficult times, and will be able to work under pressure to maintain personal deadlines. A genuine enthusiasm and sensitivity for working with people is essential.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the delivery of seasonal work programmes, including planting, mowing, weeding, plant maintenance, and grave digging.
  • Maintaining stocks of materials and products required for the grounds.
  • Completing all funeral duties, including supervising and digging graves, ash interments, and ash scatterings.
