Bombardier's Business Aircraft London Service Centre is a leading maintenance facility in the UK, part of an award-winning network. As the flagship of Bombardier's European operation, it offers a range of maintenance services, including checks, modifications, and upgrades. Located just 14 miles from London, the centre is ideally situated to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair customer aircraft, ensuring timely and efficient maintenance.
  • Perform and document all work according to relevant manuals and regulations.
  • Conduct engine runs and complex repairs on aircraft systems.
  • Supervise Mechanics and ensure tasks are completed to the required standard.
  • Assist with time estimates and monitor efficiency, coordinating overtime requirements with Project Managers.
  • Ensure tasks are performed in accordance with Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures.
  • Sign off base maintenance tasks and release aircraft after maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Hold a UK CAA & EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License: B1 and/or B2 and/or C.
  • Be type-rated on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft Type.
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, including Appendix I to Part-66, Part-M, Part-145.
  • Have at least 6 months of relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience.
  • Be proficient in human factors, human performance, and limitations.
  • Be able to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be highly proficient in using standard tools, special tools, and ground support equipment.
  • Be able to work in accordance with maintenance data and notify defects or mistakes requiring rectification.
  • Have basic computer skills.
