Head of Tax Leadership

At Together, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Tax to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
- Develop Tax Strategy: Conduct tax planning and horizon scanning to anticipate and minimize tax liabilities, optimizing our overall tax position.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters, including finance, legal, and senior management teams.
- Build Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on our organization and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and/or tax certification (e.g., CTA) preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience working in a tax role within a financial services or similar regulated industry, with a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical solutions.
