Job Summary:

The Disabilities Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the daily preparation of cooked nutritious meals for our service users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of a varied choice of menus, ensuring properly balanced and nutritious meals are provided, taking into account any special dietary requirements and service user preferences.
  • Assist in ensuring that the storage, preparation, and cooking of all food is carried out using the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Be responsible for the storage and use of cleaning items in accordance with COSHH.
