About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wem. This role involves working with students aged 9-16 who have complex needs, providing support and inspiration to help them navigate their learning journey.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students with complex needs in a specialist provision
- Providing individualized support to help students achieve their goals
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective education plans
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- DBS clearance on the update service
- Ability to inspire and engage with students
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
