Salary and Benefits

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employment Advisor to join our team in London, Lewisham. As a Restart Advisor, you will play a critical role in coaching and empowering individuals to secure meaningful employment and achieve sustainable careers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with participants through diagnostic assessments to identify barriers and create action plans that shift mindsets and unlock potential.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance targets by continuously improving strategies and seeking input to deliver the best outcomes for participants and the wider community.
  • Understanding and signposting participants to internal and external services that address needs such as debt management, mental health, and career coaching.
  • Ensuring that participants have well-crafted, professional CVs, tailored supporting statements, and cover letters to support job searches.
  • Preparing participants for interviews by conducting mock interviews and assessment activities, and helping them build confidence in their abilities.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic participant records that reflect the broad spectrum of support offered, from coaching through to employment placement, within required timescales and standards.
  • Developing strong relationships with stakeholders, including participants, colleagues, and external agencies, to drive positive change and deliver exceptional results.
  • Flexible and creative in solving complex challenges.
  • High-level digital literacy.
