Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hazardous Waste Specialist to join our team at Grundon in South Oxfordshire. As a key member of our small and proactive team, you will be responsible for providing customer service and sales support to new and existing customers.


Key Responsibilities
  • Techincal Assessment: Conduct technical assessments of waste enquiries and provide accurate classification.
  • Information Gathering: Manage and gather information to satisfy pre-acceptance requirements.
  • Cost-effective Solutions: Identify and assign cost-effective treatment and processing routes for hazardous waste streams.
  • Liaison with Customers: Liaise with customers to obtain necessary information and generate documentation.

Requirements
  • Qualification: A degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field to HNC level or above is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Hazardous Waste Assessor or similar is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the hazardous waste industry and ability to interpret analytical data and legislation.
