Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver a compelling vision for our children's ministry over the next 5+ years to engage, inspire, and disciple children aged 0-11.
  2. Facilitate all our Sunday and Midweek children's groups, ensuring a high-quality experience for children attending SML.
  3. Nurture and grow the Children's Ministry Volunteer Team, ensuring they are confident, enthusiastic, well-supported, and reflect our vision and values.
  4. Build strong relationships with parents and carers of children both attending SML and in the wider community.
  5. Work closely with Longfleet Primary School to engage with their 600+ children attending the school.
Requirements
  • An experienced Children's Pastor/Worker with at least 3 years of experience leading a children's ministry.
  • A strong understanding of how a large church operates and the ability to lead our children's ministry effectively.
  • An inspiring, creative teacher and written communicator who engages confidently and effectively with children and their families.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
