About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Leader to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share in both the On & Off Premise sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand distribution channels.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key partners, and lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth in domestic and international markets.
  • Strengthen brand positioning within the market and ensure consistent brand messaging across all sales channels.
  • Oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability and alignment with business goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the wine or broader beverage industry.
  • Further qualifications in Wine (WSET, etc.), highly beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of Drinks industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Keen, energetic and driven attitude, with a Lead-from-the-Front mentality.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Passion for premium products and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
