Laboratory Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at Lonza Group Ltd. in Slough, UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Scientist with experience in characterisation and/or Mass Spectrometry to contribute to our ongoing success and growth.

As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for planning and execution of analytical testing on therapeutic proteins to support product Characterisation and Biocomparability studies for our customers.

• Planning and execution of analytical assays for characterising biologics products.
• Execution of assigned assays with focus on safety, quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Maintenance of analytical equipment and technologies required to support characterisation stages.
• Communication of progress and escalation of challenges to Line Manager and/or study director as appropriate.

• Practical industry experience in a relevant laboratory environment.
• Experience in HPLC, LC-MS, and electrophoresis.
• Theoretical knowledge of protein chemistry and regulatory requirements applicable to performing characterisation and biochemical comparability studies.
