Insurance Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Gallagher. As a key member of our global brokerage team, you will be responsible for servicing accounts in an efficient and flexible manner, supporting your peers to meet client demands and achieve both renewal retention and growth rates.

Key Responsibilities- Control the renewal process for your clients, gathering information and communicating effectively to ensure seamless transitions.
- Maintain and grow your book of business by identifying and pursuing new business leads, using your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and brokers.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, seeking alternative solutions and negotiating competitive terms to meet their requirements.
- Visit clients as necessary, utilizing your interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.
- Assess account queries and credit control matters, resolving them efficiently and escalating concerns to the relevant team.
- Identify and act upon new-business opportunities, using sound judgment to recommend them if appropriate.
- You hold or are working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Dip CII/Cert CII.
- You have a strong working knowledge of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance, educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- You possess a strong understanding of the client market and insurance industry network, including the London Market, Lloyds, and industry.
- You have due diligence in administration, policy documents, and processes.
- You have excellent client service focus, with the customer always being your top priority.
- You generate and drive new business using exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- You actively deal with ambiguity and have outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
- You continually build your industry knowledge and seek development.
- You are eligible to work in the UK.
