Job Description

Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients by safely and efficiently transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all delivery, collection, and returns procedures, ensuring a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards.
  • Responsible for the security of the vehicle and load at all times, reporting vehicle defects and ensuring that the defect is documented.
  • Comply with Driver's regulations and Working Time Directive in line with the O License legislation and Company procedures.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed as per company procedure.
  • Perform other duties as required by the business, with appropriate training provided.

Requirements:

  • Category C+E licence.
  • Desirable ADR Class 1-9, including 7x awareness.
  • Present Tachograph card for downloading on a weekly basis.
  • Drivers must provide proof of up-to-date CPC.
  • Criminal Record Check - Basic Disclosure.
  • Proof of Right To Work - Passport / Birth Certificate etc.
  • Identity Document - Driving Licence / Passport.
  • 3 years referencing - Confirmation of past 3 years employment history / activity.
  • Basic numeracy and conversational English language.
