About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a key member of our bodyshop, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and body work on allocated jobs, ensuring that vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical and body work on allocated jobs, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop, ensuring all necessary components are removed and stored safely.
  • Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and rectify issues.
  • Order replacement parts and reassemble vehicles with new parts as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid ATA MET qualification or equivalent.
  • Have experience working in a bodyshop environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and body repair techniques.
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines.
  • Be flexible and able to work as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Have a strong commitment to health and safety, adhering to company guidelines and protocols.
