About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering maintenance department at our Coleraine site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment and facilities maintenance is completed to a high standard, maximizing machine availability, and meeting all compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a weekly maintenance schedule and address urgent work as needed.
  • Oversee the site maintenance asset care program, ensuring its effectiveness and efficient delivery.
  • Apply technical expertise to resolve equipment problems, minimizing production downtime and maintenance work.
  • Develop a plan to eliminate emergency repairs and maximize planned and project work.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, promoting empowerment and nurturing internal talent.
  • Manage the spare parts inventory, optimizing levels to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Oversee the maintenance department budget, ensuring effective spending and minimizing unplanned production downtime.
  • Maintain an updated maintenance library, including plant drawings, equipment manuals, and regulatory files.
Requirements
  • Electrical or mechanical trade qualification, diploma, or degree.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with solid supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability and knowledge of maintenance best practices and CMMS systems.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft programs, with good technical analysis ability and report writing skills.
  • Fluent in English and local relevant language.
