Production Engineer Specialist

We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in the aviation industry who are looking for a Production Engineer / Planner.
The Role- Provide engineering support for the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality products.
- Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings with a keen eye for detail, and transfer data into BOMs on the ERP system (Syteline / SAP).
- Oversee the analysis, planning, and management of all Manufacturing orders, workloads, Bill of Materials, and related documentation/databases.
- Prepare and update new/existing manufacturing process documentation (SOP's) and associated tooling required for product manufacture.
- Deliver training to colleagues in Manufacturing Planning procedures/Syteline system.
- Coordinate planning, material, and system updates/changes in result of design changes/modifications/deviations.
- Ensure production schedules are assessed in advance and all materials requirements are created/actioned to fulfil in-house Manufacturing, Outsource, free-issue, and subcontract demands.
- Proven skills, knowledge, and experience in understanding engineering drawings.
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Vac form, machine shop, injection moulding, or final assembly.
