Location: Hull

About the Role:

We are seeking an organised and capable transport dispatcher with 3rd party experience to join our team. As a Bulk / Fleet / Transport Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, communicating effectively with 3rd party suppliers and drivers, responding to queries to optimise service levels and vehicle performance, and taking appropriate steps to effectively respond to ad hoc inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a high level of communication internally and externally to ensure all delivery/loading times are achieved.
  2. Ensure all operational issues are dealt with appropriately, informing relevant parties immediately, and ensuring that all changes are recorded in the system.
  3. Execute daily operational tasks while ensuring the financial impact to the business is understood.
  4. Maintain an understanding of 3rd party requirements ensuring the allocation of work aligns with potential financial earning guarantees.
  5. Experience of working with third-party logistics and service partners.
