Protecting Vulnerable Lives

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join our team at a Family Assessment Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding children by conducting thorough assessments with families, working alongside Family Support Workers both in-house and within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct robust parenting assessments and develop support interventions to help parents improve their parenting skills.
  • Build strong relationships with families to ensure fair and evidence-based reports.
  • Provide expert witness testimony in court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • A registered Social Worker (SWE) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and families in a statutory setting.
  • Proven experience in completing parenting assessments and safe practice techniques.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
