High-Level Inspector with Defence Expertise

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled High-Level Inspector to join our team in Crawley, United Kingdom. As a key member of our defence electronics group, you will play a vital role in delivering cutting-edge solutions to armed forces worldwide.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for inspecting production and repair items, ensuring they meet Product Defining Data standards.
- You will verify assembly, wiring, modifications, and repairs of complex units and systems, including First Article Inspection.
- You will maintain equipment and tooling as required, verifying build standards and raising Inspection Reports.
- You will conduct Audit of In-Process Verified (IPV) operators to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
- You will support Workplace Management requirements with regard to Monthly Inspections, ESD, COSHH, and Temperature & Humidity records.
- You will contribute to effective improvement activities within Industry, maintaining Thales' key values.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You must have an apprenticeship/ONC or practical experience in inspection of wiring and assembly of military and civil products.
- You should be certified to IPC 610 and 620.
- You must possess strong planning and organisational skills, good communication and influencing skills, and quick learning abilities.
- You should be able to facilitate and coach process and behavioural change, challenge status quo, and make decisions to keep things moving forward.
