Job Description

Job Title: Global Therapeutic Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced Global Therapeutic Area Manager to join our team at Gilead Sciences, Inc. in the United Kingdom.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This position is within the Virology IC/GPS Franchise and will involve working across territories throughout Asia, Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.

You will be responsible for defining the regulatory strategy, plans, and objectives for assigned products or projects and managing regulatory submissions and other projects.

You will act as the Regional Regulatory Lead on products in the virology therapeutic area covering HIV, Hepatitis, and Emerging Viruses projects/products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead regulatory strategies for designated products in the region.
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory submissions for products in the virology therapeutic area.
  • Partner with regulatory affairs and development organizations to ensure optimal execution of the agreed regulatory strategy.
  • Establish strong relationships with Gilead affiliates and distributor partners.
  • Have a good understanding of the regulatory environment.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or advanced degree in life sciences or related field.
  • Regulatory experience in the biopharma industry.
  • A good working knowledge of ICH and regional requirements.
  • An appreciation of current global and regional trends in Regulatory Affairs.
  • Methodical attention to detail.
