Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Anti-Financial Crime Technology team at NTT DATA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data related technologies, including Hadoop and Elastic Search.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing large datasets and designing scalable data ingestion workflows
  • Working closely with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide solutions
  • Configuring and updating UI components as needed
  • Coding in line with agreed standards and best practices
  • Unit testing and ensuring the quality of the code

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Elastic Search
  • Strong programming skills, with a focus on Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with Agile and Test Driven Development methodologies
  • Familiarity with Linux and Git
  • Understanding of SOA and high-level IT architecture
