Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team at MWH Treatment Limited. As a key member of our Design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering our Water Infrastructure projects.
About the Role:As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design delivery for our Water Infrastructure projects. This will involve developing and managing Engineering Project Plans, providing direction on suitable design methods, and assessing project complexity to assign suitably competent engineering resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the design delivery for Water Infrastructure projects
- Develop and manage Engineering Project Plans, including scope, program, cost, risk, and resources
- Provide direction on suitable design methods and assess project complexity
- Implement design quality procedures and ensure adherence to achieve a right-first-time philosophy
- Manage supplier and subcontractor design input, including engagement, selection, management, and integration of designs
To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in an engineering discipline and preferably be Chartered or working towards Chartered status. You will have proven experience in the Water sector, ideally on pipelines, pressurised networks, attenuation tanks, combined sewer overflows, or drainage projects. You will also have solid people management skills and adaptable collaborative communication skills.
