**Job Description:**

Consilium Recruit are delighted to support a renowned innovator in the medical products sector in their search for a talented Manufacturing Engineer - Prototype Development. This exciting opportunity allows you to work at the forefront of innovation, creating cutting-edge prototypes that make a real difference in people's lives.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for translating engineering drawings into prototypes, collaborating closely with NPI and R&D teams to drive product development. Your expertise in welding, CNC turning, and material selection will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manufacture high-quality prototypes using a range of materials and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Maintain and improve the Engineering Workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored, and consumables are available as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in welding (MIG/TIG) and CNC turning for one-off testing/jig manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and ability to interpret and implement designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing project requirements.
