Health Care Support Worker

Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our team at Morriston Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our patients to achieve their full potential.
Main DutiesAs a Health Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and maintaining patient records. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and promoting patient safety and well-being. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should have a minimum of QCF Level 2 in Health or equivalent knowledge and experience. A willingness to undertake further learning and development is essential.
