About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all building services, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and extend asset lifespan.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our facilities management processes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in building services engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • IOSHH qualification and/or other relevant certifications.
