Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop high-quality instructional practices among teachers, ensuring alignment with the KIPP Foundation-provided curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records and data tracking systems to inform instruction and drive student growth, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for progress.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement individualized education plans, leveraging research-based programs and general education curriculum to support students with special needs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of annual reviews and reevaluations, working closely with classroom teachers as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong commitment to anti-racism, equity, and inclusion.
  • Valid North Carolina teaching license or willingness to pursue state certification, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant content area, and at least 2 years of teaching experience in EC/SPED general curriculum.
