About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer to join our team at Superdrug, responsible for developing and managing our key hair care category. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective promotional, marketing, and merchandising strategies to launch new products and grow existing brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage our key hair care category, including identifying trends and bringing them to market quickly
  • Collaborate with different teams across the business to launch new products and grow existing brands
  • Implement effective promotional, marketing, and merchandising strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible deals
  • Provide commercial insights and analysis to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a buyer in a retail environment, preferably in the grocery, fragrance, or healthcare sector
  • Significant experience with Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
