Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer

Job Summary:

The Sterling Choice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle plant breakdowns and ensure high-quality fixes
  • Participate in changeover activities to meet customer demands
  • Identify and address root causes of machine breakdowns
  • Conduct Asset Care inspections and implement improvement projects based on data analysis
  • Sourcing machinery parts and executing planned maintenance
  • Enhance safety standards and maintain high standards in workplace organization and food safety

Requirements:

  • Time-served mechanical apprenticeship with an electrical multi-skilled conversion
  • Experience with packaging machines in an FMCG environment
  • Strong communication, team-working, and problem-solving skills
  • Conscientious attitude and a safety-first mindset

Working Hours:

You will be working on a 3 shift rotation which will include:

  • 1 week of earlies (6am – 2pm)
  • 1 week of PM's (2pm – 10pm)
  • 1 week of nights (10pm – 6am Sunday – Thursday)
