Company Overview:

TLP, a well-established service and maintenance workshop facility specializing in heavy commercial vehicles, seeks an experienced HGV Technician with supervisory experience.

 

Salary:

The successful candidate can expect to earn in excess of £55,000 - £60,000 per year, with a basic annual salary of £52,737, plus overtime and annual bonus opportunities.

 

Job Description:

The HGV Technician will be responsible for the ongoing inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles. Key duties include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, completing required works, ensuring timely completion of pre-planned maintenance, and undertaking MOT inspections.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed an HGV Technician apprenticeship
  • Supervisory experience
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level Three qualifications
  • Possession of own tools
  • Full UK driving license
  • Class 1 license beneficial but not essential
