About Minstrell Engineering
">We are a leading provider of automated distribution solutions, and we're looking for an experienced Engineering Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our Tamworth facility.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking day-to-day reactive and planned engineering maintenance activities, as well as improvement works on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as conveyor networks, lifts, cranes, and belts.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Reacting to MHE breakdowns, locating faults, analysing issues, and completing fixes in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of work activities, tasks carried out, and parts used through stores.
- Collaborating with other departments to increase machine reliability on existing and new equipment, diagnose equipment breakdowns, and action repairs.
- Attending meetings, analysing data, and finding solutions to improve equipment performance while ensuring safe working practices and communication.
- Participating in projects to develop effective engineering install and commissioning.
Requirements:
">- A formal qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of MHE and automation systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
Salary: £32,500 - £38,000 per annum.
